Refreshing your duvet
We regularly wash our bedding, but how often do you think about cleaning your duvet?
Did you know that simply airing your duvet is a great way to improve your quality of sleep?

It’s a natural way to reduce bacteria, creating a cleaner and healthier sleeping environment.
The Vileda Infinity Flex airer, which costs £65 from Argos, is perfect for duvets, towels and bed linen as it can be extended up to 2m.
It also has wheels so can easily be moved to a suitable position in your home – even outside.
Goodbye Grease
Rid your splashbacks of grease and grime with this easy hack.
For ceramic, glass or porcelain splashbacks, spray with a mix of equal parts white vinegar and warm water.
The important bit – make a cup of tea while it gets to work.
Whatever cleaning solution you use, it can really benefit from being left for five minutes, to reduce the work you need to put in.
Pop on your extra durable Marigold Extra-Life Kitchen Gloves, which cost £1.99 from Robert Dyas, to keep your hands and nails protected and wipe down with hot soapy water and a microfibre cloth.
This cloth is made up of thousands of tiny fibres, for a really thorough clean.
It’s even made from 100 per cent recycled material, so not only does it get your kitchen gleaming, it also gives plastic bottles a new lease of life.
Declog your u-bend
Blocked kitchen sink? Rather than calling out a costly plumber, it can be a simple job to tackle yourself.
Pop on a pair of Marigold Extra-Life Kitchen gloves to keep your hands dry and protected.
Unlike some other gloves you may have tried, they don’t roll down in use, thanks to the slim fitted wrists and special edges on the cuffs.
Pop a bucket underneath the sink and unscrew the U-Bend.
Drop the U-Bend into some hot soapy water and give the inside a good scrub with an old toothbrush to dislodge the build-up.
When you’re done, and leaving the bucket in place, simply screw it back on and run the tap to check it’s nice and tight.
