HAVING kids can be expensive, particularly when you have birthdays, kids parties and Christmas each year.

Shoppers have revealed how they are racing to Asda to stock up on their recent toy sale, which has items slashed to £2 and below.

One mum uploaded a photo of the large haul of toys she picked up for her four kids, which is sure to help her out for special occasions ahead.

Taking to the Facebook group , she wrote: “Check your local ASDA as they have reduced a lot of toys.

“All this for £48, for 4 kids

“The highest price item was the Barbie watch at £4.00, everything else was pretty much £2 or under.

“There were still lots left at Havant including larger Minecraft, Sonic, Marvel and Nights at Freddie stuff.”

Included in her bargain haul was a Barbie’s Makerz Kit, a Lego truck and a Thomas the Tank Engine toy.

Numerous shoppers were impressed with her haul and took to the comments.

One shared: “might be worth checking for Christmas.”

Another added: “need to go.”

A third commented: “shame we don't have a proper asda.”

The supermarket is currently having a baby and toddler super sale, with numerous items reduced to just £1.50, including adorable sleepsuits.

Meanwhile, mums and dads have been racing to Asda in their thousands, to take advantage of the supermarket's latest Baby Event.
