SKINCARE can be frustrating, with beauty lovers spending a small fortune on items for often lacklustre results.
One woman claims to have found the ultimate hack for flawless skin and claims she has no wrinkles – despite being 43.
If you are struggling with your skin, you might want to take a tip from Zoë Foster Blake.
Having founded Go To Skincare, the Aussie author and influencer knows a thing or two about beauty – with thousands following her advice on Instagram.
In fact, the 43-year-old claims to have totally transformed her skin and even her beauty therapist was shocked at the results.
Speaking with the podcast, she even recalled her beautician’s response and told the host: "She said, 'At the end of summer, you usually come in with a lot of pigmentation but you don't have any?'.”
According to the beauty expert, this is because she has finally ‘nailed’ what her face needs: skin cycling.
She excitedly added: "It's all come down to 'skin cycling'. I know everyone's talking about cycling and it's not new, but I hadn't really done it and now I'm devout."
You’ve probably heard of this beauty trend as it went super viral on TikTok a few years ago, with almost every influencer jumping on the skincare hack.
For anyone who is confused by the complex routines though, it just means changing the active ingredients you use.
Say you use a retinol most evenings, this hack would involve you swapping it out for a chemical exfoliator, like BHAs, for the next night and then a hyaluronic acid after that.
Then you go back to retinol before repeating the cycle (see what they did there?).
Not only will it save you a small fortune as you use less products every night, it is thought to help your skin age better as you aren't overapplying products.
"It's not rocket science, although it might sound confusing to someone who's not aware of it,” Zoë explained with her adding that she will use an SPF and vitamin C most mornings.

Now, the skin expert is urging everyone to use a similar skincare routine as having had what she called ‘tremendous, amazing results’.
For those who still aren’t sold, you can also personalise your routine for your skin type.
Those with dryer complexion, for example, will need to add in more moisturising ingredients.
This could be as simple as following up your hyaluronic acid with a skin-loving moisturiser to make sure your skin stays hydrated overnight.
Meanwhile, those with oiler complexions will want to use products like salicylic acid as well as charcoal masks to help tackle any blemishes.
The possibilities are endless, but try to find a skin cycle that works for your skin and routine.
Zoë added: "I don't think morning is the time to be over-complicating things, particularly if you've got children. You need to get out the door and you've got to get to work and all of those things."
We couldn’t agree more.
