And now, the professional chef has shared his take on how to use the air fryer for meals the whole family will love.

In the first episode of his Channel 4 TV show: Jamie's Air Fryer Meals, he showed us how to whip up an easy mid-week meal using frozen fish in just ten minutes.

To start, Jamie grabbed his dual-tray air fryer and took out the tray that allows air to flow.

He explained: "They tend to all have like a little trivet tray, and that's for air flow, and when you take it out, you essentially got a pot, a pan, call it whatever you want."

He then added some rosemary, garlic and olive oil to the 'pan' and put it in the air fryer for five minutes on 200 degress.

While that cooked off, he began to prepare the frozen cod fillets - but added you could use any fish you have in the freezer.

To elevate the fish he created a simple pesto using four sun-dried tomatoes, almonds, and Parmesan and blended the mixture together before placing it on top of the code.

He then added layers of cured ham on top with a sprig of rosemary and a little oil.

Once the rosemary and garlic had infused in the air fryer, he took it out and added a can of butter beans and a splash of red wine vinegar.

He then places the fish on a tray to go in the air fryer for eight minutes along with the beans.

Jamie also added some lemon to the tray with the fish to caremalise and add an extra depth of flavour.

Once it was all done cooking, he added Parmesan cheese to the bean mixture.

As he didn't drain the tinned beans it created a yummy, thick sauce.

Once plated, he added the fish on top and then revealed his go-to hack to create a simple side dish to get your vegetables in without having to create anymore washing up.

He took two handfuls of spinach and added them to the 'pan' the beans were cooked in.

He then placed them in the air fryer - which was turned off - for 40 seconds until they had wilted.

Not only does it mean you can add another side to your meal in no time, it also gives the spinach some flavour from cooking in the left over bean sauce.

"A little balsamic vinegar is dreamy, there you go," he added as he tucked into the dish.

"That fish is truly very delicate, very flaky."
