That's because a savvy shopper named Lauren has told how she managed to get her hands on a baby bottle and dummy set for just 1p during a recent trip to her local branch.

In fact, she was so impressed with the price, she snapped up six.

Taking to money-saving Facebook group , she shared a snap of her bargain with other deal hunters.

"Bargain! You get the bottle and dummy for 1p from Boots!" she penned.

And she wasn't the only savvy shopper making the most of the offer, with Molly Claffey posting a photo of the 1p sign on the shelf of her local store.

"Best bargain I've gotten - 1p from Boots," she enthused.

It wasn't long before the post garnered an impressive 1k likes and thousands of comments, with one social media user praising: "I'd start stacking up while they're cheap - amazing deal!"

"Oh wow!!!!" commented a second.

Another tagged a pal and pleaded: "Keep eye out for these!"

Meanwhile, a fourth wrote: "No way!"

However, elsewhere, other shoppers suggested that it was part of the Boots Parenting Club which is where parents can nab items for free.

"These are the Parenting Club free items but scan at 1p for the till, Boots card then cancels it out if you have the offer loaded to your card (1 per customer).

"They don’t manage it though so people can get them anyway," wrote one.

"I got this for free when I signed up to Boots Parenting anyways," commented another.

"They’re part of the parenting club. You get a voucher to get one for free," a further added.
