I’m a hot gran, trolls say it’s ‘inappropriate’ to wear a bikini but I won’t stop… you can crack walnuts on my abs
AS we age, it can gets harder to keep exercising into our golden years.
One woman is proving that age is just a number though, by having washboard abs at nearly sixty and defying sexist trolls.
If you met Fran González, you’d struggle to believe she’d had children…let alone five of them with her oldest being 37.
She even has eight grandchildren and despite her growing family, she still manages to have abs of steel.
The health coach jokes that she is ‘not a typical grandma’ or your average 57-year-old, after becoming a fitness influencer in later life.
Having amassed over 200,000 followers on Instagram (@frangibar), she regularly impresses fans with her toned figure – many of whom can’t believe their eyes or her age.

Fitness, however, has always been a huge part of Fran’s life and she has looked after her body as the years have gone by.
The hot gran said: “I have always looked after my body after each pregnancy, and I’ve always practised sport and worked out.
“The abs are more about nutrition, after menopause, I’ve changed to a more anti-inflammatory diet.
She even gave up her career as a school principal to follow her love of fitness, fearing she’d feel too ‘worn out and tired’ to do it when she retired.
“In my 50s, when my kids started to live their own lives, I decided to live life my way, so I quit my job as a school principal and began to travel and run ultra trail races around the world,” she explained.
She added: “I decided to live now and do the things I’m passionate about... it’s never too late to follow your dreams.”
Despite her having abs you could crack a walnut on, this hasn’t stopped sexist and ageist trolls commenting on her apperance.
“They usually say things like the clothing [including bikinis] aren’t appropriate for someone my age or I shouldn’t show my body like this,” Fran told What’sTheJam.
She added: “I’m not sure if it’s jealousy [that causes these trolls to say these things], maybe it’s a lack of acceptance of someone dressing differently than them.
“It seems to be mostly older men and a few women. “Is it only young people who can wear the clothes they want?”
She even taunts them by uploading a video of herself at the beach in a bold red bikini, with the Instagram post getting over 5,400 likes.
Fran even cheekily wrote in the caption: “Walking away for society’s age stereotypes and finding my own path.
“I will keep wearing a bikini, short shorts and tops I like, until I decide I no longer want to do it!
“So if society says that 50-year-old women shouldn’t wear bikinis.
“Oops, seems didn’t receive the memo.”
Fans have even been gushing over her svelte figure after seeing videos of her in crop tops and skirts or shorts.
“Have you had any kids? Your core looks amazing!,” said one amazed fan.
“You know you’re killing it when your body makes people BIG mad,” added another, saying: “You look [fire emoji].”
“I’m sorry, you are HOW old? And what genetic lottery have you won?” joked someone else.
“So many hater comments it’s unbelievable! You look incredible and so inspirational. A strong body and high on confidence! That’s a real flex,” said a fourth.
While she might have many admirers on and offline, the 57-year-old only has eyes for her husband Ian, who she met later in life.
She added: “I think that if you have the right person at your side it can be amazing, you are more confident and you know what you like.
