You turn to Primark, naturally.

The retail giant has released a £3 dupe of Laneige’s cult product, which is infused with shea butter and vitamin E for major hydration.

The PS... Superfood Raspberry Overnight Lip Mask is designed to “give your lips some TLC overnight”.

“Hello, plump and juicy pout,” Primark’s social media penned on Instagram.

“This hydrating hero is set to rejuvenate your lips and instantly relieve chapped skin.”

The vegan formula is both fairtrade and composed with naturally-derived ingredients.

“More than just a lip balm, this mask is formulated to help hydrate and nourish the skin while you sleep,” bosses at the fast fashion brand promised.

“So, expect to wake up with a soft and supple pout.

“The addition of raspberry adds a sweet touch, and the pretty pink packaging ensures the pot will look cute on any nightstand.”

The skin on the lips is thinner and more delicate compared to the skin on other parts of the body.

As our pout lacks oil glands, it is more prone to dryness and cracking.

Using overnight lip masks, and topping up with a balm throughout the day, will help to replenish lost moisture and prevent dryness.

Regularly nourishing the lips helps to keep them soft, smooth and supple.

Dry, chapped lips are not just uncomfortable, but a real eye-sore whenever you glance in the mirror.

What’s more, cracked and dry lips can create openings for bacteria and viruses to enter, leading to infections such as cold sores or angular cheilitis.

So while there’s aesthetic benefits for looking after your pout, there’s serious health benefits too.
