A MUM has revealed how she uses five minutes of each day to make an extra £60,000 a year.
Rachel Jimenez’s side hustle requires no experience to get started - just some market research and clever timing.
The 36-year-old sells printable products - such as Elf On The Shelf games for Christmas - on online marketplace Etsy.
She told CNBC that once your printable product is made and ready to buy, you just need to work for “five to ten minutes a day” checking messages.
Rachel, a self-styled “six figure seller”, shares her side hustle prowess on social media and her blog, .
“What I love about Etsy is the speed at which you can go from having an idea to testing it and putting it in front of an audience of hundreds to millions of potential buyers,” she penned in one post.

“Whether you are selling physical or digital items, I recommend starting small and testing the demand.
“For example, if you create physical products, don’t start with an inventory of 1,000 items. Instead, buy what you need to list your first item, create it and then put it out there.
“If it sells, you can make more. If it doesn’t sell, you can go back to the drawing board with new data knowledge of what doesn’t work.
“The same holds true with digital products. Create something based on your research, post it on Etsy, market it and take note of what happens.”

RAGS TO RICHES
Rachel claims that after giving all of her attention to her Etsy shop, she made over six figures in less than nine months and was able to quit her full-time job.
“If you would’ve told me what my life would look like now a year ago, I would have laughed in your face,” she adds.
“If you’re looking for something you can set up and forget about, I’ve found this to be a great option.”
Rachel focuses on selling digital products, as this means she doesn’t have to hold any stock and it can all be directly printed by the customer after purchase.
“If you’re new to the idea, Canva is a great tool that you can use to create digital products,” she wrote on her blog.
“I would argue that your listing images are more important than your actual product.
“When I first started my Etsy store, I would spend days working on a product and then minutes creating my listing images. This was a rookie mistake.
“If you’re tired from creating your product, come back at another time and give your listing images the full amount of energy they deserve.
“You only get one shot to make a first impression and stop someone from scrolling, so don’t blow it like I did.”
