A MAN has revealed that he and his wife are giving their three-month-old daughter up for adoption as she doesn't fit into their lifestyle.
The dad revealed that his wife Catherine had not appeared particularly interested in their daughter Elizabeth since she was born, and went back to work just two weeks after giving birth.
He said that the couple are both "workaholics" and added that Catherine's mother, who lives with the family, looked after Elizabeth most of the time.
Taking to Reddit, the dad shared that his wife only interacted with her daughter when she needed something, and never picked her up when she was crying.
In a second post, he shared that the couple have decided to give Elizabeth up for adoption, as they are two busy with work to look after her.
The dad revealed that Catherine's mother had gone ballistic when she heard the news, and it was eventually agreed that Elizabeth's grandmother would adopt her.

When asked by a Reddit user why he was choosing his wife over his daughter, the man said: "I can remember life without my daughter.
"I struggle to remember life without my wife.
"I love my daughter, don't get me wrong, and adopting her out would be no easy feat.
"But keeping her could make my wife miserable - is, actually, making her miserable.
