A WOMAN has revealed that she has transformed her son’s plain box room with bargain buys and an old plate.

What was once a very plain and full room, with no carpet, paint or personality, has since been given a total transformation, whilst on a budget.

Rubi-Grace Joy used cheap buys from Shein to give her son’s space a fres new feel, leaving many open-mouthed. 

Posting on , a private Facebook group with 2.2 million members, the savvy mum shared pictures of her son’s bedroom, giving social media users a before and after look at the space.

She penned: “Finished my son’s first ever bedroom recently and we love it.

“The box room of the house but I made it work!”

Rubi-Grace used paint, prints and added toys and accessories, to transform her two-year-old son Tommy’s room.

She confirmed that she used a Crown paint, in the shade Mellow Sage, to bring some colour to the walls in her son’s room.

If you’re a fan of this modern colour, you can nab this paint from Wilko, Wickes and Homebase.

Rather than splashing out on posh wallpaper, Rubi-Grace confirmed that she used leaf stickers from Shein, as well as an old plate to provide a stencil, to create a unique design on the walls.

Not only this, but she later confirmed that she got her son’s bed from Ikea

Rubi-Grace’s post has clearly impressed many, as it has quickly racked up a whopping 1,100 likes and 143 comments. 

Social media users were stunned at the little boy’s new bedroom and many were quick to express this in the comments.

To this, Rubi-Grace confirmed: “I used a plate!
