I gave my child’s bedroom a glam overhaul with The Range & B&Q bargains – people say it’s the best makeover they’ve seen

A WOMAN has revealed that she has given her daughter’s bedroom a glam makeover whilst on a budget.
Savvy mum Hannah Louise Taylor explained that she used bargain buys from The Range and B&Q to give her 11-year-old’s room a total transformation.

Not only are people impressed with Hannah’s DIY skills and upcycling abilities, but many have said that it’s the best overhaul they’ve ever seen - with others claiming that the room now looks like an Airbnb.
Thrilled with her DIY job, Hannah took to social media to show others.
Posting on , a private Facebook group with a whopping 2.2 million members, Hannah shared a close-up before and after look at her child’s space.
Hannah explained that she gave her daughter’s bedroom a makeover as part of her birthday present.

The bedroom was once painted pink, but was quite dark and plain - with marks on the door and walls.
However, thanks to Hannah’s DIY skills and some cheap high-street buys, the room has now been totally transformed - and is super chic and trendy.
Hannah beamed: “I love a good before and after! My 11-year-old girls’ bedroom.”
The savvy mum later confirmed: “I used Dulux Egyptian cotton [paint]. And the ceiling was B&Q white.”

She then confirmed that she nabbed her wall print for under £5 from The Range, as well as her daughters’ faux plant.
Not only this, but she also shared: “All the cushions are from The Range.”

When it comes to her daughters’ dressing table mirror, she continued: “It's battery powered but it's beautiful when it's on.. it was from The Range.”
Hannah shared that she did some upcycling when it came to her daughters’ Argos bed, as she shared: “I did buy this about six years ago. I just gave it a lick of paint.”
Hannah later told Fabulous: "DIY doesn't have to cost a fortune, especially with the cost of living affecting almost everyone.

“I used Egyptian cotton by Dulux for £34 and it did the whole room.
“I upcycled the bed and draws using a cheap white paint and brought little bits from The Range, Dunelm and B&Q.
“It pays to do your research before you buy the first thing you see.”
Hannah’s DIY makeover has clearly left many very impressed, as it has quickly racked up 971 likes and 108 comments.
