THERE’S nothing worse than spending ages at a salon and splashing the cash on a pricey manicure, only to leave and not be impressed with your nails.

And that’s what happened to one woman who asked for an ombré manicure, but ended up getting nails that look more like teeth

A beauty fan has revealed that she went to a new nail salon for a set of acrylic nails, but was left massively regretting her decision after she was left with nails that according to social media users, could have been done by an 11-year-old.

Posting on the community sharing platform, Reddit, on , Kaylee Mariek shared a picture of the nails she wanted, as well as a snap of the nails she actually got, as she penned: “What I asked for..What I got.”

Kaylee then explained: “I’ve had the same done before. It looked great.

“But I chose a nail place closer to my boyfriend’s workplace, so I could visit him then get my nails done.”

But unfortunately, after the woman splashed $55 [£43.65] on the beauty appointment, she claimed: “Never doing that again.”

Instead of the neat ombré fade, the woman was left with very messy and bold nails, that were nothing like the natural manicure she had hoped for.

She then claimed: “It was so annoying. I kept asking for a different shape.

“They didn’t know anything in there!”

Not only this, but someone else commented: “They did you dirty, sorry you paid for that and expected a VERY different outcome, unprofessional on their end.”

Meanwhile, another beauty fan shared: “The idea of a nail artist that can't even do an ombré being gainfully employed in the field is a travesty.

"Make sure you review the place with that picture.”

At the same time, one person claimed: “This would be a situation where I would refuse to pay unless they would fix it.”

However, Kaylee later admitted: “I know it looks bad, and I should have spoken up for myself.”

Kaylee then asked Reddit users: “I need to go get them re-done but I can’t drive right now because I have epilepsy. So I have to stare at these ugly things.

“Any tips? Should I paint over them? I don’t know what to do.”

To this, one user recommended: “Definitely paint over them!”

Gutted at her manicure blunder, the beauty fan later revealed: “I’m probably going to soak these off, then go to my original salon and get new nails done.”
