IT'S one of the nation's most popular bakery chains - but what is it like to work at Greggs?
Well, according to one Greggs employee, who took to Reddit to spill the beans about the job, it's ''easy'' - and there are also a few secrets foodies may not be aware of.
Writing on the popular forum, the Redditor, who goes by the name @emstars02, named some truths about their famous signature sausage rolls and breakfast baps customers love so much.
Although some former employees have warned against ordering certain items, this worker shared how things are made - and with a whopping baked every year, there certainly is a lot to go through.
The bakery staff member claimed they've been working for Greggs since May 2023, and describing the every day life said it was ''pretty easy''.
During their time so far, there have been plenty of things the worker's allegedly noticed, such as the special training they all had to learn how to properly assemble sausage rolls.

In the post, the bakery chain employee said everyone was "trained to do the sauce first" when layering up the filling in between the buns.
According to the person, the best practice seems to be opening the bun first, pouring "red or brown sauce" onto them, then layering up the fillings to get "a nicely sauced roll without any extra sauce flying around".
In terms of the what sells the best, the staff member confirmed that the customer-loved Greggs sausage rolls are the most popular item.
The Redditor explained: "There are days - especially Saturdays in my shop when we will put out freshly baked sausage rolls and they all sell out within one to two minutes and they are most commonly bought in larger amounts."

Almost as loved are their hearty and filling steak bakes which are "becoming more popular every day" and "sell out so fast now".
Headed to the nearest Greggs for a quick bite? The Reddit user suggested a handy tip.
''The temperature of the bakes can depend on the time.
"Usually, midday is when we bake the most and we have hot bakes ready more often so that’s a good time to get hot ones, but in the evening we don’t really cook that much because it’s not busy so most of them won’t be as warm."
The nation's top bakery was forced to close some of its bakeries on March 20 due to a technical glitch, and customers were left furious.
A statement from Greggs said: "We are currently experiencing issues accepting payments in our shops."
It added: "We are working to resolve this as soon as possible."
Luckily, the problem - which had affected multiple locations across the country, including Newcastle, Westminster and Cardiff - has since been dealt with.
In a statement they said: "We have now resolved the technical issue that affected tills in some of our shops earlier this morning.
