Katie Price’s man JJ Slater is ‘wooden fame-feeder’ says body language expert after claims she ‘finally found good one’

KATIE Price has had her fair share of romances, from her short-lived marriage to popstar Peter Andre, to her turbulent relationship with Carl Woods.
The 45-year-old star recently told Beat that "men have ruined my life", but insisted that she has now "found a good one" in JJ Slater - who rose to prominence on the Channel 4 show Married at First Sight.

JJ, 31, had a tumultuous journey on the show, having first been matched with the lovely Bianca Petronzi, who he then cheated on with blonde bombshell Ella Morgan.
After first appearing to be interested in pursuing a relationship with Ella, their romance was short lived, and the both pair ended the experiment single.
So is JJ really looking for love with Katie, or is the reality star just using her to boost his profile?
Fabulous spoke to body language expert Judi James to find out.

JJ with Bianca
When entering the experiment, JJ boasted that his ex was a Victoria's Secret model, and said that he loved going out with her because she was "really, really pretty".
However, JJ admitted that the model had cheated on him, and insisted that he was looking for a nice, normal girl to settle down with.
Enter the beautiful and sweet Bianca, who was ecstatic when she walked down the aisle to see a smiling JJ.

However, JJ quickly revealed to the cameras that he was not attracted to Bianca as she is a natural beauty, saying he preferred women who'd had lots of cosmetic work.

After the wedding and despite JJ being honest through his appearance in MAF, their relationship continued on a downward trajectory, with JJ appearing to put little effort in to getting to know Bianca.
Analysing JJ's body language when he was with with Bianca, Judi said that there was "zero synchronicity between them".

In one scene on the show, JJ and Bianca were sat on opposite ends of the couch, during a commitment ceremony.
Analysing this, Judi told Fabulous: "The spatial distance he creates on the couch here shows a complete lack of connection or effort to connect with distraught wife Bianca.
"His sexual attraction to her seems to be zero as he sits hunched with clasped hands and sucked-in lips, suggesting a total physical and emotional shut-down."
In another commitment ceremony scene, JJ also appeared very disinterested in Bianca.
Judi said: "Even when he does sit closer, his leg is up in a barrier ritual that is intensified by the addition of the hand on his leg.
"His facial expression is bland and his torso leans slightly away from Bianca, with zero synchronicity between them."
JJ with Ella
After becoming bored of his first wife, JJ cheated on Bianca with Ella, who was also unhappy in her own marriage to Nathaniel Valentino.
Ella, was, at the time, the most well-known and talked about contestant on the show, as she was the first trans woman to take part in the series.
JJ said Ella was more of his traditional type, and it initially seemed like there was a spark between them.

However, after becoming an official couple, Ella got increasingly frustrated with JJ for not having sex with her, despite claiming to be attracted to her.
In one scene, Ella and JJ were in bed together, the morning after a dinner party.
Judi said: "This should have been JJ’s moment to show off his entire repertoire of sex signals and flirty moves in bed with second match Ella, but sadly that body language blandness we saw with Bianca has returned.
"Ella throws him some very powerful sexual signals here but JJ responds with at least three rejection signals.
"Firstly, he appears fully clothed including his watch, secondly he keeps his eyes looking down in a cut-off gesture and thirdly he’s using a cup of tea as a modesty prop, with both hands on it rather than on Ella."
In another scene, JJ and Ella were sat side beside one another at a dinner party, but JJ was looking anywhere but at his wife.
Analysing this, Judi said: "Even with one arm around the back of Ella’s chair, JJ’s eye gaze and eye-expression are turned away from Ella and her very obvious assets to look dully in the other direction.
"The disappointment shows in Ella’s eye expression as a result of what looks like disinterest from JJ."
Despite constant arguing on the show, JJ and Ella decided to stay in the experiment right until the end.
During their final vows, they decided to part ways, with Ella admitting that JJ wasn't giving her what she needed, even though she was exactly what he had asked the experts for.

Now months later, JJ has been plunged into the spotlight again, after Katie Price confirmed that the couple were dating on February 25.

Announcing their relationship status via an Instagram post, Katie said: "They say things happen for a reason , the unexpected happened .
"Fate. Ticks every box . @johnjoeslater you have proved to me you are a real gentleman and completely except [sic] me for me."
Judi described the pair as being in an "Oxpecker" relationship.
She explained: "This is a term for when a non-celeb partner feeds off a celebrity’s fame, like the Oxpecker bird feeds off the hippos whose backs they live on."
Despite Katie's insistence that JJ is a gentleman, Judi said that his body language with the star suggests that he is using her as a means of furthering his career.
Analysing, Instagram snaps of the "loved-up" pair, Judi said: "If anyone can drag a coupled-up-and-happy pose out of a man, it’s Katie.
"She has famously posed off her men with determination and resilience for years, which is why she does at least seem to have managed to get wooden-looking JJ to smile here.
"It’s JJ’s eye-attention and the finer details of his body language that show up potential red flags in terms of him being a potential fame-feeder though.
"In both poses it’s the camera that has his attention rather than ‘new love’ Katie.

"His smile shows signs of being formed by a lifted top lip, which suggests incongruence and effort.
"He’s sitting upright while Katie leans into the poses, and although he has his arm round her in both shots, it’s a casual gesture with no tactile signals apart from Katie, who is clutching his hand in place and throwing sultry expressions at the camera."
She continued: "It would be reassuring to see JJ paying Katie some flattering and flirty eye-attention, to signal interest in her rather than the camera.
"Or even instigating some of the touch, instead of posing and projecting direct to the cameras, which can be a symptom of a fame-feeder.
