AGES WELL

I’m a 69-year-old gran and get told my outfits are inappropriate but I refuse to give up leather trousers & low cut tops

And why Ann Marie is often mistaken for 10 years younger

A GLAMOROUS gran has revealed she is often told her outfits are inappropriate - but she's not hanging up her low cut tops or leather trousers any time soon.

Ann Marie Harper, 69, is a qualified makeup artist but also takes great pride in her own appearance.

The gran of three - known to her army of fans as  - said: "I love dressing up. My style used to be big long dresses.

"But I’m more into the leather trousers and tops, a bit low cut. And I love frills.

"I love it if somebody turns and tells me I look lovely.

"I'm like a magnet when I'm dressed up. People come forward and just want to chat to me."

However, the bubbly pensioner - from Prestwick, Ayrshire - is aware "age is a big thing" and has been faced by people who don't approve of her wardrobe.

"I get told my outfits are not age appropriate but I'm fine with that", she said.

"I wear what I want. There's more people who love my outfits.

"I think the ones who tell me they're terrible secretly want to wear them too, but they're just shy."

We told earlier how Ann Marie is mistaken for 10 years younger thanks to her glowing skin.

She said: "I don’t smoke or drink and I enjoy walks, so I know that helps too.

I’m a glam grandma in my 60s and love showing off my body in bikinis - sexy senior women are the best,

"I'm looking at my skin just now in the mirror. I'm nearly 70 and I can't see a line."

While she prides herself on her skincare routine and is happy to age gracefully, Ann Marie still enjoys fillers and fake tan to boost her confidence.

She told the Scottish Sun Online: "I've just had my brows microbladed, and my lip blush is life-changing.

"I still swear by my fillers and botox too. It's not for everybody but I love all that. We're allowed to be who we are.

"I'm not ashamed of getting old, I'm honoured to get to this stage. I accept it but still like to make an effort."
