FINDING the perfect dress can often be one of the most expensive parts of planning a wedding.

But one woman has revealed how she saved herself a fortune - by buying a £43 dress from the charity shop.

She took to Reddit to share a picture of herself in the stunning off-the-shoulder number, which originally would have cost £550.

"After searching Goodwill for a few months and buying a few 'maybe' dresses, I’m finally calling the search process done!" she .

The David's Bridal dress even came with its tags still on, showing that it was completely unworn.

She added that she found the dress on the charity shop's website, and said she would recommend it to "anyone looking to stay on a low dress budget without compromising on quality!"
