SHOPPERS are racing to get to M&S, eager to get their hands on leftover Valentine’s Day chocolate.

So if you’ve got a sweet tooth but are on a budget, you’ve come to the right place - and will need to run to your nearest M&S.

Tracey Young was left thrilled when browsing the shelves in her local M&S in Bristol as she noticed a selection of sweet treats had been slashed.

Clearly happy with her bargain buys, the savvy shopper took to social media to alert other shoppers.

Posting on , a private Facebook group with a whopping 2.4 million members, Tracey shared a picture of her haul and wrote: “M&S 50p each.”

She then confirmed: “This was Bristol Eastgate.”

And if you're a fan of the chain's iconic Walnut Whips, you're in luck.

Tracey was lucky enough to get her hands on a bar of ‘You’re Incredi-bubble’ - a sparkling wine flavoured mallow with shimmery orange sauce, in milk chocolate.

She also got a pack of the ‘Shucks, You’re amazing’, which contains pistachio creme filled chocolate oysters, with honey ganache chocolate pearls. 

Tracey later added: “Large bar in date until August - so that’s the teachers’ end of year gift sorted.”

Whilst the chocolates were both originally priced at £5 each, Tracey confirmed that they were both reduced to just 50p, with her haul costing just £1.

In total, Tracey saved an impressive £9 on her bargain buys.

But if you fancy getting your hands on these reduced finds, you'll need to be move fast, as they are only available while stocks last.

Tracey shared her post just 21 hours ago, but it has clearly impressed many, as it has quickly racked up 150 likes.

Social media users were eager to get their hands on the cheap buys - and many expressed that they had also been reduced in their local stores. 

One person said: “Got them yesterday.”

Another added: “Fab find.”

A third commented: “Annoying to have paid £5 for these a week ago!”

Someone else claimed: “Reduced to £2 in M&S Altrincham Today. I noticed them 15 minutes ago.”

Meanwhile, another foodie chimed in: “£2.50 in Edinburgh, but totally worth it!”
