A WOMAN has revealed that her sister who recently got married is fuming at her after she wore a ‘better’ dress to the wedding.
The guest explained that her younger sister was not impressed in the slightest with her wedding guest dress when she said I Do.
The 28-year-old woman wore a figure-hugging black frock, with her toned legs on show.
The bodycon dress, which featured a busty display as well as a sheer mesh panelling around the waist, also came with a thigh-high split.
Posting on Reddit, the community sharing platform, on a page named , the woman opened up about the dress ordeal.
The young woman wrote: “Bride gets mad at me for wearing a “better dress” even though she approved of it the day before.”
The red-haired woman, who was invited as a guest to the wedding, then expressed: “The day before her wedding I was showing her the dress I was gonna wear to the wedding and she said it was gorgeous.
“The dress was this little black dress with a little bit of sparkles and a corset.
“When I arrived to the reception she was a little stunned and came up to me saying something in the lines of “oh wow I didn’t know you were actually gonna wear it” and then just laughed.
“But I could see by her face that she had a problem with it.”

According to the young woman, who had paired the dress with a pair of black heels and sparkly jewellery, she could sense that the sister was slightly off towards her - and even fellow attendees of the wedding got involved.
She continued: “All throughout the wedding I saw her giving me these strange a** looks.
“And once during the wedding I saw her talking to some people and then at one point they all just stared at me and gave me a nasty a** look.”
Unfortunately for the fashionista, who then sought advice from fellow Redditors, her 23-year-old sister ''hasn’t really been the same'' to her since tying the knot with her partner.
She concluded: “She hasn’t really been the same to me ever since. I honestly don’t think I did anything wrong and think she was overreacting especially since she literally approved of the dress so I don’t know why she changed her mind so fast.”
Trashy for a wedding

But although the woman did indeed look fabulous, and she didn’t anything was wrong with her frock, hundreds of social media users disagreed with the wedding attire.
Many raced to slam the ''inappropriate'' dress choice - and some even called it "trashy".
Bridal expert reveals the must-have trends for 2024
Event whizz Tsitsi Lynn Makuni claimed that mini gowns, wearing bows for tying the knot and donning bold accessories are among this season’s must-haves for marriage, The Sun reported earlier.
RING THE CHANGES - brides are opting for not one, but two dresses.
HITCH UP THE SKIRTS - short dresses were a huge hit at the Scottish Wedding Show’s October Catwalk and Tsitsi said more bridal boutiques are now offering shorter styles.
BRIGHT NOT WHITE - white and ivory dresses are no longer a given as more designers offer pastel options, and we will see a demand in more bold colours too.
BE BOLD - the accessories, too, will be as bold as our dresses. Expect to see dramatic headbands, pearl-embellished veils, elegant gloves and retro sunglasses.
TAKE A BOW - from small bows on headpieces and shoes to oversized bows on dresses, this is a wedding trend that’s showing no signs of slowing down, the expert revealed.
One person said: ''I see why the bride thought you were kidding. This is a great club dress but a terrible wedding guest dress.'
Another added: “That would look amazing at a New Year’s party. Not appropriate for a wedding.”
A third commented: “Trashy for a wedding.”
Whilst someone else agreed: “I think that the dress looks great on you. I don't know if it is really wedding appropriate. That's a LOT of leg for a wedding.”
I honestly don’t think I did anything wrong and think she was overreacting

Not only this, but another woman expressed: “I would never have worn something like this to a wedding, not even to my own.
“With this big chunk of "missing" fabric I also say it's too much.
“For me the combo of: free shoulders/no straps, mesh in "corset look" and this high and extremely wide slit it's just too much.”
Meanwhile, one user claimed: ''No one will EVER be upstaged by the bride because everyone knows who the bride is and she will remain the centre of attention.
