I’m a nursery worker – we hate when you dress kids in certain clothes, the audacity of a 3-item combo really gets to me

The nursery worker explained why she hates dungarees

A NURSERY worker has revealed the three things that parents bring their kids to childcare in that she can't stand.

Getting your kids dressed, ready and out of the door in the morning can be a very stressful experience, with so many different things to remember.

However, one childcare worker has revealed some things they believe that you should leave at home when bringing your kids to nursery.

Taking to Mumsnet, the disgruntled nursery worker said: "From all nursery workers everywhere.

"We hate pull-ups. They sag and are a b***h to change when you have a nappy round of 15 children.

"You have to take off the child's trousers and shoes to put on a new one."

Pull ups are designed to be a transition between wearing nappies and underwear.

Instead of having sides that fasten together with tape, they are stretchy and can just be pulled straight on to the child.

Continuing her rant, the nursery worker added: "Some parents even have the audacity of putting socks, tight and dungarees on one child.

"And don't get me started on dungarees for toilet training children who cannot take them off themselves, why do that?

"I can't think of anything more annoying!"

Another person added: "You should add converse trainers to the list…so difficult to put on".

A third person chimed in: "We use pull ups at home, but have normal nappies for nursery.

"The nursery said they preferred it. Just ask the parents."

However, some people disagreed with the nursery workers' pet peeves.

One person said: "You know pull ups can be ripped off rather than pulled down the legs?"

Replying to this, one person agreed: "Yeah, or you can snip up the sides with scissors!"
