WITH 22 kids, they've undoubtedly encountered their fair share of parenting woes over the years.

But in their new book The Radfords: Making Life Count, Noel Radford has claimed that his kids' teachers "had it in for them" - leading to many of their struggles at school.

In one chapter, he said that his son Josh - who's now 16 - will be "affected" for the rest of his life by his teacher's decision not to allow him the opportunity to join his football team playing at Wembley.

"This was Year Six - which meant Josh ended up missing out on playing at Wembley when he was just 10," Noel wrote.

"It still bothers Josh to this day and will affect him for the rest of his life.

"I sometimes think - because we also had two of the girls not being allowed to go to their proms - that it's a case of the teachers thinking, 'It's the Radfords' and having it in for us."

In addition to Josh's problems at school, Sue and Noel's daughters Sophie and Millie also ran into some issues.

"I remember she was really upset because she didn't get on with this one teacher and she wasn't allowed to go to her prom because this teacher didn't like her," Sue wrote.

"She wasn't really naughty, just a bit mischievous, I would say.

"But she's never got over the fact that this teacher wouldn't let her go to the prom."

"She was just talking when she shouldn't have been talking. She wasn't rude and didn't answer back or anything," Noel added.

Whereas with Millie, she "was a drama queen from the very start - very loud!" Sue laughed.

"She's always been a handful," Noel remarked, adding: "She didn't particularly like school."

"And I don't think they liked her, probably because she was so loud," Sue weighed in.

"She wasn't allowed to go to her prom because... well her behaviour wasn't great, was it?

"And I think that decision has always affected her.

"The same thing had happened with Sophie."
