And she wasn't the only one to have figured that out.
"Told you scanners work! I got 15!" someone else commented.
But that remark ended up riling some people up, with one man writing: "That's why there's nothing left - because of greedy people like you."
Another hit back by commenting: "Oh dear, what a shame!
"We got 18 and we will be back for tomorrow for another 18 every day."
"How's it greedy?" someone else wrote.
"I have 4 children plus a lot of nieces and nephews so I would buy the 60p eggs for them all to save a few quid!
"Every penny counts!"
"I work in a supermarket and honestly don't get these rules," another commented.
"I'm like take what you like if you pay for it lol.
"Anyone would think they don't want the custom ....as for those that are like we'll its not fair on others, first come first served, simple!"
"I got 14 in one transaction at self checkout today," someone else said.
"I got three of each via the scanner so got 12 in total, three for each kid," another added.
Others argued that the rule was six of each variety of the 60p eggs per customer.
"I was told earlier today that it’s 6 of each 60p eggs per customer," one wrote.
"So you can have 36 eggs at 60p each!"
"It’s actually 6 of each one that’s permitted," another said.
