However, there was another reason why the original poster was left in shock at the dress.

"At first glance she looked nude!" they gushed, referring to the flesh-coloured mini dress beneath, which was almost identical to the woman's skin tone.

As two large pink flowers are also attached to the plunging v-neck, it's not hard to see why people thought the woman was a little more exposed than she should be.

While we all want to turn heads at a wedding, this dress has gone on to break the internet and countless people have commented on the makeup artist's outfit.

One Redditor even claimed that the unknown woman was trying to steal focus from the bride, writing: "Main character syndrome on full display right there."

Most commenters, however, thought the dress looked handmade and weren't eager to recreate the look at home.

"No, that is a arts and crafts project that should have never made it out in public," added another shocked user.

A third joked: "Somebody went on Pinterest and didn't get enough faux flowers to complete the look!"

Others were glad that the faux flowers had managed to remain in place, even if they weren't so smitten with the end result.

"I’m somewhat impressed it covers all the bits you’d need to over," a fourth commented, saying: "But at the same time it’s just terrible. Absolute trash. I’ve got really bad second hand embarrassment."

There was even some confusion as to whether the dress was real, with a user admitting that they thought the dress was a filter at first glance.

"I am relieved it is the dress though, because I was trying to see the dress through the weird flower emojis and kept thinking there is no way that fabric is covering what should be covered in her chest area," they explained.

Whilst we love a floral dress, we'd probably just stick to a simple pattern instead of this.
