‘This is so versatile’ shoppers beam about ‘gorgeous’ M&S crossbody bag that’s a dupe for £135 COS piece

The department retailer has dropped a brand new crossbody number that looks very reminiscent of. 

Both named officially Quilted Crossbody Bags by the respective retailers, is a whopping £105.50 cheaper at £29.50. 

And it’s receiving rave reviews from shoppers. 

Women have dubbed the design "gorgeous" and “so versatile”, adding that they were “surprised at how much you can fit in it”. 

“My minimum requirements for an everyday bag are that it be crossbody, light, have pockets to store things like passes,” one reviewed.

“And it needs to have a maximum size that can accommodate my iPad mini, phone and purse.

“This bag ticks all the boxes and looks good as well.”

“I’m really pleased with this bag,” another gushed.

“It looks more expensive than it is and looks on trend!”

The nylon handbag comes in three hues of black, cream and pink, while the £135 COS bag comes in two leather tones of brown and black.

This isn't the only M&S handbag dupe that shoppers have been raving about recently. 

Its Faux Leather Top Handle Tote Bag was dubbed a dead ringer for the Hermès Kelly Sellier 28cm Bag in Black Epsom Leather earlier this month. 

And in this case, getting your dupe on can save you well over £10,000.

It’s unclear how much the luxury Kelly handbags sell for brand new as you have to be part of an exclusive club to be offered one, but versions are often flogged for well over £10,000 on second-hand sites.

Sellier Knightsbridge has the bag listed at £16,450 with Palladium Hardware on its website, while the M&S dupe costs just £39.50.
