A HOMEOWNER has compared her quirky flat to Balamory after giving it a bright and vivid makeover.
Megan Welsh bought her first home in Glasgow last year and has spent months transforming it into a colourful haven .
Sharing a tour of her pad, the 25-year-old showed off the mix of colours she used for the doors - with blue, purple, pink, green, yellow and orange.
And she couldn't help but compare it to the multi-coloured houses on CBeebies hit Balamory, as she blared the theme tune out during her video.
Parents across the country will fondly remember the programme for its iconic song: "What's the story in Balamory, wouldn't you like to know?"
The show followed life in a small Scottish town and its various characters including Chewin' the Fat star Julie Wilson Nimmo as school teacher Miss Hoolie.
Filmed on Tobermory, it was a huge hit during its four season run from 2002 to 2005 and has remained a great source of nostalgia for those who grew up with the programme.
Aged four when the show first aired, and podcast host Megan clearly still has fond memories of it - and its colourful houses.
Megan said her own home is all about "fun and colour".
"There's not really a colour scheme, it's kind of multicoloured as you would imagine", she said.
