‘It’s too booby,’ self-confessed ‘hippie’ begs for help with outfit for ‘uptight’ family wedding & people have concerns
PLANNING her outfit for an upcoming wedding, a guest shared the jumpsuit she was considering and asked for advice.
Because her family is apparently “uptight,” she said she was worried about looking appropriate.
Posting anonymously to , she revealed that she has a “garden cocktail” wedding coming up this month.
“And I'm struggling choosing what to wear,” she went on.
She offered some insight into the situation so that other Reddit users would better understand why she was in a pickle.
“My family is a bit uptight, and I am more like a hippie.”
Although she was different than the rest, she was hoping for an outfit that they would approve of.
“I want to look good and classy.”
She shared photos of herself in floral, sleeveless jumpsuit that featured a plunging neckline and wide leg bottom.
“I like that this is a jumpsuit and it's pants instead of a dress, and I love that it has pockets but I'm really unsure.”

She debated covering up her tattoos with makeup so she could “look classy,” and noted she’d throw a sweater or shawl on top because of the chilly weather.
While most viewers liked the style, they couldn’t get past one aspect.
“I think the jumpsuit is great, but I would definitely sew or pin the neckline so it’s not as booby,” one person wrote.
“Yeah, definitely a little frumpy on top. I would suggest some security for the girls and a tailor to make it less frumpy/loose looking,” a second noted.
Others suggested a better bra, and one person said there was no way it would work, “Large busts do not do well with cross over halter type tops. Even if it is pinned higher, it will still look saggy.”
