Cleaning in between the glass on your oven door is way easier with my tape trick – work smarter, not harder
A CLEANING expert has shared how she gets in the nook and crannies of her oven.
With the help of a little tape, she was able to clean between her oven glass easily.
"How to clean in between the glass on your oven door! One of my best cleaning hacks that makes doing this SO easy," she said.
"I see so many videos totally overcomplicating it. It's a basic matter of work smarter not harder."
She explained that two screws at the top of the oven door held everything together, including the handle, so she started by taping the oven door and the handle down.
"There's a huge struggle at the end to get the door and the handle lined back up for the screw," she said, noting that the tape would eliminate that.
"Before I remove the screws at the top, I make sure to tape on both sides, making sure to tape the glass, the handle, and around the tape to the inside.
"The minute you release those screws, it's going to immediately want to pop up."
Once the screws were out, she removed just the portion of the tape on the inside and gently lifted the inside door.
Using a glass cleaner, she wiped down the glass and a disposable crevice cleaning tool to remove grease.
Once the oven glass was thoroughly clean, she lowered the glass back over and reattached the screw.
"Thankfully because of the tape, it's really easy to do and there's no struggle," she said.
People said that although her tip was extremely helpful, they were reluctant to learn it.
"I don’t wanna learn how to do this because if I do then I’ll have no excuse to not clean it," joked one commenter.
