Stacey Solomon tests £10.50 serum for ‘duck lips’ but doesn’t rate it, and she has an even cheaper solution

SHE may be best known as the Queen of DIY, but Stacey Solomon has delighted fans by turning her hand to beauty.
While many women fork out a small fortune on cosmetic procedures in a bid to achieve 'duck lips,' the mum-of-five listened to the plea of her social media followers who asked her to put a new viral beauty product to the test instead.

In a recent video posted to TikTok (), the 34-year-old responded to a fan who asked: "Can you try the new NYX duck plump lip serum.
"I've tried other plumping lipsticks but they haven't worked - would love to know what it's like."
The online product description for the £10.50 lip plump, which can be bought from the likes of Boots, claims: "Caution! Caution! May cause duck lips!
"Get instant and overtime plumping for the ultimate injectionless pout with duck plump extreme sensation plumping gloss!

"No need for multiple layers! Get extreme high shine and high pigment payoff in an easy swipe."
Stacey can then be seen holding up the viral product in two different colours - 'clearly spicy' and 'mauve out of my way.'
First up, she applies the clear one to her lips, before offering a very honest review.
"I honestly can't feel anything - shall I put more on?" she asks.

"Maybe I'm not mixing it properly. It doesn't feel like anything.
"I can feel like the tiniest tingle - like the tiniest. You know if you drank a ginger shot….no, it's not even as strong as a ginger shot.

"It's not really doing anything for me - I don't look like a duck."
The Loose Women star goes on to say how she doesn't just blame the product for this, but claims she thinks it's just a gimmick in general.
"I don't think I've ever bought one of these tingle lips things and they've ever done anything to my lips," she says.
"If you really want your lips to look bigger than they are, just draw them on."
Demonstrating her top tip, she advises getting hold of a lip liner and drawing outside the line of your lip.
"This is only if you want ridiculously big lips then this is really what you've got to do," she explains.
Doing one half of her lips to highlight the difference it makes, she says: "Already that lip looks way bigger than that lip.

"Do you know what the real hack for it is though? Use a lighter lip liner than the colour you're going to put on.
"Chuck a darker lip colour over it and then Bob's your uncle!
"Look at the difference - that's a duck lip!"
Stacey concludes: "Why are we bothering with tingle lips when we can just draw it on and it looks better?"
"Sorry NYX duck plump - it's a nice formula, it's still quite expensive, I think it's like £10.
"It smells like…I was trying to give it a bit more credit with the smell but it smells like nothing."
She captioned the post: "How to get 'duck lips.' Started as a try with me turned into a tutorial no one asked for, please if this stuff works for you tell me how! Sorry NYX."
The post has since gone viral, racking up over 171k views and quite the response from beauty fans up and down the country.
"Literally the only reviews I’ll trust," one person wrote.
A second penned: "Love that you are so honest, it’s refreshing."
