A MEGA cheapskate has revealed that he takes showers with his clothes on, in order to save money on doing the laundry.

31 year old Greg, from Ohio, USA, said that washing his clothes in the shower with him saves about £12 a month as he doesn't have to use a washing machine or tumble dryer.

When he's having a wash, he lathers his clothes up with shower gel and washes them alongside his body.

Greg keeps a bucket in the shower which he uses to catch all of the excess water from his soaking wet clothes.

Then, at the end of the week, when he's ready to flush the toilet (yes, he only flushes it once a week) he pours the bucket down the loo, and this acts as a flush.

"This way, I'm not wasting any water", the extreme budgeter told TLC.

Gregg said that he saves about £20 a month from not flushing the toilet.

Showering with his clothes on isn't the only thing Greg does to save money, he also drinks out of yoghurt pots instead of glasses and uses old newspaper to wipe his bum.

"You might get some ink on your bum, but nobody's going to see that", he said.

He also uses paper plates that he got free from his nephew's birthday to eat his dinner off.

Greg doesn't use the dishwasher as he says it costs too much money, and chooses to hand wash his yoghurt pots and paper plates.

The Zumba teacher doesn't even have to pay rent as he was given a house by one of his Zumba students that sadly died.

However, he does sneakily charge his housemates rent, and hasn't told them that he got the house for free.

Gregg said that one of his favourite things to do is to go on "online dates" as this means he doesn't have to spend money on dinner and drinks.

When eating out Gregg chooses to drink tap water and eats off the kid's menu.

He said that he will do anything for money and earns thousands of pounds from doing clinical trials.

Gregg used one of the trails to get himself a new car.

"I had to put ointment up my bum, but it was worth it to get a car out of it", he said.
