EVERYONE wants to look their best, so it’s not surprising that people are willing to spend a small fortune on skin.
One beauty expert, however, claims that it’s better to save your pennies though after finding a dupe of an Elemis best-seller and it’s less than a fiver.
Found at the Aldi checkout, the ‘must have’ make up is part of the supermarkets new skincare range which dropped this week.
Beauty influencers, such as Tiktok user , have already been stocking up after finding multiple dupes for Elemis.
This includes a high street version of the coveted Superfood hydration juice - which will usually retails for a staggering £22.
Meanwhile, Aldi’s Lacura hydrating gel serum is only £4.99 in store – saving you £17.01 when you make the swap.
It wasn’t the only item that influencers were adding to their basket though, with celebrity makeup artist also sharing his latest supermarket find on social media.
The beauty expert claims that the German brand has a primer that gives you a better glow than the high- end alternative from Elemis.
In fact, Scott was so impressed that the make up artist even put it to the test in a recent video.
Appearing in a short reel on Instagram, the influencer applied the Lacura Illuminating Moisturiser () and gushed about how impressed he was with the supermarket primer.

"I found a little product goes a long way," he told his 245,000 followers, adding: "This covered all that half of that face and I can already see a lovely glow happening."
Testing the dupe against Elemis’ Superfood Glow Priming Moisturiser (£44), he noted that the high-end alternative had a very different texture.
"It's a lot thicker, I found. I had to actually add more product to cover my ears and forehead,” he said, as he applied the best-selling product to the other side of his face.
Whilst you might think the more expensive item would be making its way into his shopping basket, the beauty guru was pleasantly surprised.
Scott even advised fans to pick up the Aldi alternative after seeing how it appearing on his skin.
He explained: “I really like both to be quite honest, but for me if it's £44 versus £4.99 from Aldi, I'm 100% going for the Aldi version. You can see the results for yourself.”
The influencer added: "The Aldi version's just got more glow, and I love it. Aldi, you win!"
With a potential saving of £40, it's not surprising that his fans were eager to try out the product.
One even admitted in the comments that they would be testing the dupe for themselves.
They wrote: "I do have the Elemis one which I love but I’d try the dupe."
Another added ‘Ooh that’s a good find’, to which a third replied: “Wow, need to check out this one from Aldi.”
However, it wasn’t the only recommendation that Scott had for his followers as he also gushed about other Aldi items.
Testing several supermarket swaps in a follow-up clip, he told revealed that the Lacura Moisturing Cream () was also dupe for the viral Weleda Moisturiser (£14.95).

The products even looked virtually identical, as they both came in a vivid green tube - for those who weren't already sold.
