Calling all 2024 brides: How to get a FREE wedding cake worth £500 with a simple Instagram post
ENGAGEMENT rings are pricey business - you’ve got to think of metal, setting and stone arrangements.
And with the cost of living crisis pinching Britons’ purses, most are forgoing traditional jewellers in favour of cheaper alternatives.
Take Poundland for example: the budget retailer is flogging engagement rings for £1.50 ahead of Valentine’s Day.
But there’s an even cheaper engagement ring alternative which can see you earn a FREE wedding cake.
Lovebirds proposing with Haribo gummy rings in the month of love are in with a chance of being sent a three-tier wedding cake from the confectioner.
To mark this Valentine’s Day, Haribo says it is offering “the sweetest reward” for those who get down on one knee with one of its iconic gummy rings.

And if you post it on social media with the hashtag #HARIBOSweetProposals, the sweet manufacturer might send you a free cake.
The bespoke cake will be sure to make any heart throb as it’s three-tiers of your chosen sponge.
It’ll be embellished with Haribo’s love heart sweets, too.
With wedding cakes setting couples back an eye-watering £500, the freebie is set to provide sweet relief to a few couples.
