One user suggested: "Mix in a bowl of warm soapy water about ten drops of tea tree oil and wash down the affected area with it.

"Keep your window open to help dry the wall faster.

"If it happens again repeat it.

"Or try putting tea tree oil on a cotton wool bud and rubbing the area with it.

"This worked for me."
