Some shoppers have joked that they “hope it makes you 20 years younger” for the eye-watering price tag.

But those securing it for free won’t need to worry about the price-to-value ratio.

French-Japanese luxury cosmetics brand Evidens de Beauté has given away hundreds of The Serum bottles.

Formulators say that it “activates the skin's vital functions of collagen synthesis and moisture” while bringing firmness and radiance.

Within just a few uses, it will reportedly “restore youthfulness” by plumping out fine lines and smoothing out texture.

How to get The Serum for free?

Savvy Brits are getting sent the freebie through a little known platform: .

The online platform, which is also accessible through an app, works with brands to send out free products in exchange for honest reviews.

“Sometimes brands give away their newest and best products (for free!) because they want honest opinions about them,” Influenster bosses explained.

Brits have been logging onto the app all weekend to be told they’re being sent The Serum by Evidens de Beauté in exchange for a review on the Influenster app.

Each 30ml bottle contains active ingredients for maximum benefits, including powerful antioxidant Vitamin E.

There’s also La Foux spring water to refresh your complexion and a QAI complex to bust wrinkles and fine lines.

It’s currently on sale for £300 in luxury department store, Harrods

“A fresh, crystal-clear serum that melts in instantly, releasing its precious ingredients and activating vital functions,” Harrods editors said.

“It boosts the action of other Evidens de Beauté skincare products and brings the skin back to life, making it softer, firmer and more radiant.

“This Elixir of Youth is particularly rich in Triple Collagen, QAI and in firming and anti-oxidising agents.”
