A FIRST-TIME mum has been left shocked after discovering she's pregnant with two sets of twins.
Ebony Apps, 23, from Kempsey, Australia, and her partner Jayden Cornish, 21, are due to become parents this April.
The pair had recently suffered two miscarriages and recalled the moment they found out they were having their rainbow quadruplets on Sunrise on Thursday morning.
"It was very shocking, but we are obviously very excited and feeling very blessed about the whole situation," Ebony said.
Jayden revealed that at the time of the first scan, they were told to expect twins - but on their fourth doctors appointment they received life-changing news that they were expecting four babies.
'It was a massive shock. It's only started to hit me in the last two weeks,' he said.

The young mum-to-be said her pregnancy is very rare as she is expecting two sets of identical twins..
'No-one's really seen it. All the ultrasound people, they were working for about 30-something years in the field and they have never seen it,' she said.
Identical twins happen when a single egg is fertilised reports the NHS.
The egg then divides in two, creating identical twins who share the same genes.
This means Ebony had two eggs fertilised and both split into two.
While multiple babies brings lots of joy, Director of the Australian Multiple Birth Association Silje Andersen-Cooke also revealed they bring unavoidable challenges.
Speaking to the , they said: "'Women pregnant with higher order pregnancies are susceptible to every pregnancy risk. They have to go on maternity leave sooner and something like 98-100 per cent of babies are born prematurely."
Ebony's mother Sonia Hadley said her daughter's pregnancy brought a big cost as every item purchased has to be multiplied by four and she admitted it was 'overwhelming'.
"It's an embarrassment to the government that a person expecting multiples has to start a Gofundme page," Ms Andersen-Cooke said.
"Why don't we help parents of multiples enough?"
