‘Shame for them to go to waste!’ Woman brags after grabbing 72 Cadbury selections boxes for 69p in mega sale
And it turns out that chocolate isn't the only thing you can save money on...
SOMETIMES when you see such a good deal, you really need to make the most of it.
One woman who did just that was Claire Courtney, who was so impressed with Cadbury's online sale, that she decided to nab 72 chocolate selection boxes from the site all at once.
And with the chocolates reduced from £1.49 to just 69p, who can blame her?
Delighted with her bargain buys, she hurried to money-saving Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK and shared a snap of the exact Cadbury selection boxes which she nabbed.
They each include a Curly Wurly, Fudge, Chomp, Freddo and Buttons.
Alongside the image, thrilled Claire penned: "Thank you to the person that mentioned Cadburys sale, I’ve just opened 72 selection boxes ready for school snacks."
She then shared another image of the chocolates all individually emptied into a large brown box so they're easy to grab on the go.
But not only that, each of the selection boxes also comes with its own discount voucher for various attractions - including Legoland, Madame Tussauds, Sea Life and Shrek's adventure.
Claire continued: "Each one comes with a 50% off code with the bar code so it’s a shame they just go to waste so message me if you could use one and I will send you a picture once I get 5 minutes."

The post quickly garnered quite the response, with many eager to nab the bargains for themselves.
"Need!" wrote one.
A second urged: "Just go on Cadbury website and look at Christmas sale just got 24 selection boxes for £12."
A third asked: "Where did you order from please?"
Meanwhile, a fourth chimed in: "72 selection boxes - how many kids have you got? Mine arrived today too, I just want for 24 and some other little treats."
And it's not the first time chocolate fans have been going wild for deals on the sweet treats in recent weeks.
Fabulous previously told how shoppers had spotted Quality Streets slashed to £2.25 a box in Asda - and revealed how people had found a nifty way to get around the November best before date.
"Quality Street £2.25 at Asda Retford," one person wrote on the Facebook group, adding that they had an "expiry date of Nov 2024".
But it wasn't long before people started sharing a clever way to get around the expiry date.
"Nov 2024, bet they will last a lot longer if stored properly," another shopper, to which a second replied: "Yep - freeze them!"
According to the website, the best way to freeze chocolates like Quality Streets is to first place them in a freezer-safe airtight container or bag and put them in the fridge.
This will help to reduce the temperature shock to the tasty treat, which can affect the taste and texture.
After 24 hours in the fridge, you can simply pop them in the freezer.

Then, to defrost them, remove them from the freezer to the fridge for 24 hours, before taking it out of the fridge so it can slowly return to room temperature.
Then, they'll be ready to eat.
