SNOW WAY

My ‘snow day hack’ means you can clear your driveway in 10 seconds, people are doubtful but it works on 8 inches

Some swore by the hack, but most had their concerns

A WINTER-READY woman has shared her 10-second snow day hack to clear her driveway after a blizzard.

The cold weather cheat code didn't convince all viewers however, with some saying it wouldn't work on very heavy precipitation.

Tiff () of St. Louis, Missouri filmed her snow day advice in a seven-second on TikTok.

She showed a clip of her driveway surrounded by the chilly precipitation.

"Snow day hack," she said. "Put a large tarp on your driveway before the snow."

With the tarp all wrapped up, the snow was contained inside and easy to move out of the way with a bit of muscle.

"Ta da. Driveway clean," she added.

The hack revealed a driveway free of any snow, sleet, or icy conditions.

Tiff's approach to hacking winter didn't convince everyone, however, with skeptics expressing their concerns in the comment section.

"Shaking my head, must be a southern," one wrote. "Wouldn't work in the upper midwest."

"It was Missouri, pretty Midwest," Tiff replied. "But not a heavy snow. Still worked though."

"Doesn't work if it actually snows more than an inch. You wouldn't even be able to move the tarp. Must not be from Chicago," another added.

"We had 8 inches, so nothing crazy, but also after some snow melted. Still better than ice and shoveling that portion," Tiff wrote back.

"If there is more than a few inches of snow, meaning the snow would be shoveled, the tarp would be too heavy to lift," yet another said.

"Never work in New York," one more commented. "You’ll need a 18-wheeler to pull it off."

Tiff did receive some support for her snow day hack, with one writing: "I've been doing that for years."
