Bargain hunters are racing to Poundland to nab leggings that have been slashed to just 25p – but people are divided
BARGAIN hunters are racing to get to their nearest Poundland store, desperate to get their hands on leggings that have been slashed to just 25p.
So if you fancy getting yourself a bargain, you’ll need to listen up.
One savvy shopper was left stunned when browsing the shelves in Poundland, when she spotted children’s leggings that were massively reduced.
Thrilled with her cheap find, Sophie Broome took to social media to alert other shoppers.
Posting on , a private Facebook group with a staggering 2.4 million members, Sophie shared a picture of the discounted leggings and penned: “Popped into Poundland on my way home and saw these leggings for my daughter reduced to 25p a pair.
“I bought a few pairs as they will be great for going to childminders in under her dresses.”
Sophie then confirmed: “Only this colour [was] reduced.”
Luckily for Sophie, she managed to get her hands on the ‘younger girls' leggings, in age 5-6 years.
The Pep & Co buy had been reduced from £2 to just 25p - saving Sophie £1.75.
The mother later explained that she nabbed the skin-colour leggings from a Poundland in Birmingham.

Discussing the colour of the leggings, she wrote: “They are skin toned but under her dresses in the winter with boots will be nice and warm. Wouldn't let her wear them with a t-shirt.”
Sophie shared her post just 14 hours ago, but it has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly amassed 145 likes and 44 comments.
But social media users were left divided at the cheap leggings - while some were desperate to nab a pair, not everyone was as impressed.
While some thought the leggings were a 'bargain', others claimed them to be see through and complained that they will make you look like you have no trousers on.
One person said: “Bargain.”
Another added: “Will keep her legs warm.”
A third commented: “Perfect for a bit of warmth without clashing as they're neutral.”
Meanwhile, one shopper tagged a loved one and penned: “Worth a look.”
Whilst another parent alerted a family member and asked: “Have a look for me.”
However, not everyone was too keen on the leggings, as at the same time, someone else wrote: “Are they the colour that make you look like you got no pants on?”
