Kylie Jenner is ‘insecure’ at Golden Globes but Timothee Chalamet’s ‘overkill PDA shows he’s embraced inner Kardashian’
TIMOTHEE Chalamet and girlfriend Kylie Jenner amped up the PDA during their latest appearance at the glam Golden Globes.
But according to a body language expert, Hollywood's newest celebrity it couple's embrace at the awards show was "overkill."
Timothee, 28, was nominated for Actor in a Musical or Comedy Film for Wonka.
Despite losing out to The Holdovers' Paul Giamatti, Timothee made headlines over a PDA display with Kylie, 26.
The pair were snapped sharing an intimate kiss seated at their table after Timothee walked the red carpet solo.
Body language expert told The U.S. Sun that the couple's roles were reversed from previous sightings.
"The main takeaway message from their award-winning PDA pic is that Timothee is fully embracing his inner Kardashian," she explained.
James described the Call Me By Your Name star as "happily instigating the kissing and eye-gazing in front of the cameras at one of the biggest celebrity events of the year."
She compared his confidence to someone who has "been in reality TV all his career."
James also detailed the clues that suggested Kylie may not be as comfortable as in previous appearances.

"Kylie’s touch rituals suggest some possible insecurity," she said.
"She’s [previously] been seen winding her arm around Timothee’s neck, touching his face, or placing a hand or arm over his lap.
"These gestures have looked possessive and dominant.
"Now Kylie is taking the more passive role with her gestures.
"She even suggested some subliminal insecurities while Timothee sits smiling at her and stretching in and back out for a kiss," James shared.
The expert added that Timothee's movements "make it look like he’s keen to prove something."
Kylie's touch rituals do suggest some possible insecurity
"These moments of what looks like intimacy are performed while the cameras are up close to capture the moment," she said.
"It’s a bit of an overkill body language ritual from Timothee.
"Kylie seems to be talking to him, but he pops in with the kiss as though to reassure her or to shut her up lovingly," Judi explained.
Meanwhile, Kylie can be seen "running her fingers up and down the edge of his jacket."
James described these actions as "subtly seductive rituals" but explained that they also "look rather anxious as though she might not be quite as confident about their relationship now."
She explained that this insecurity may be the reason for "Timothee’s quick but effortful kisses on the lips."
James referred to the couple's previous outings, including a day at The U.S. Open in September 2023.
"Timothee has spent months looking awkward at high-profile events with Kylie, " she said
"His body language suggests a man who would prefer to keep their relationship private."
Timothee now looks like the cat that got the cream
Meanwhile, Kylie has been "performing all the classic signals and moves to show the world that they are very much an item."
According to the expert, the award-winning actor "now looks like the cat that got the cream."
After enjoying their public kiss, Timothee can be "seen smiling straight into the camera, with a closed-lip, stretched mouth grin."
