A SELF-STYLED “ecommerce expert” has claimed she makes £40,000 a week in a job anyone can do - and started it with just £2 in the bank.

Alice Liuu is just 21-years-old but reportedly running a “seven-figure empire” with a job she says “you just need WiFi” to do.

As a result of her success, she says that she only stays in five star hotels and owns her dream apartment in Miami, US.

The work Alice got rich from is dropshipping, which she tried her hand at aged 19.

Dropshipping is an online business model where the seller flogs stock through a website or online marketplace, but doesn't keep any inventory on hand.

Instead, the stock is kept by a third-party business.

That means dropshippers don’t have physical shops or warehouses to store products.

They act as a middleman between a business and a customer by fulfilling orders remotely.

“Don’t let a person with a £30,000 salary talk you out of your million dollar dreams,” Alice wrote on Instagram.

“I’m 21 and spent the last three years trying out different online side hustles and building multiple streams of income.

“I can tell you that with the help of social media and mentors, it is absolutely achievable.

“You need to stick to one business model, break it down into daily actionable steps, learn from the right people, and aim to provide value.”

Alongside dropshipping, Alice makes extra money offering coaching sessions and guidance for others looking to try dropshipping.

“Don’t get me wrong, all [professions] are great,” she added.

“But if you’re looking to work from a laptop, have the freedom to travel, make connections, and have NO limit to how much you earn, look no further.

“A lot of people are overwhelmed by the idea of starting an online business.

“But I can promise you that it is more doable and achievable than you think.”

What is dropshipping?

Dropshipping is an online business model where the seller doesn’t keep inventory on hand.

Instead, they purchase items from a third-party wholesaler or manufacturer.

You still get the profit and financial benefit of owning an online store without many of the upfront costs that manufacturing and shipping entails.

The work is predominantly work from your laptop at home, and you can constantly add items to your portfolio without paying more to sell them.

However, there is still a risk of difficult supplier relationships and your profit margins becoming lower if your supply chain is too long.

You also have low control over customer experience.

Similarly, a university drop-out who was called a “dumb a**” for quitting her job to sell leggings via dropshipping claims the decision made her a millionaire at just 22-years-old.

Maddy Glynn says that she can now make over £14k for just 20 hours of work.
