‘I filled my car!’ Woman rejoices after buying hundreds of pounds worth of B&M Christmas decorations in final £1 sale
IT may be January, but savvy Brits are already prepping for Christmas thanks to clearance sales.
That includes one shopper who managed to nab hundreds of pounds worth of decorations for £1 each in B&M.
The variety retailer, famed for its cheap prices and bargains, has slashed baubles, wreaths, ornaments and lights to £1 a pop.
Even faux Christmas trees - cost £35 a mere two weeks ago - have been slashed to a quid.
Store bosses are rapidly trying to shift un-purchased Christmas stock to clear space on the aisles for more January-suitable products - such as organisation and wellness goodies.
Shopper Vicky Hackett rejoiced that she “filled her car” with the festive discounts.
Taking to Facebook, she shared pictures of everything she nabbed from her local B&M store.
Vicky picked up baubles, a faux tree, two “holiday train” ornaments, endless metres of fairy lights and countless baubles.
She also nabbed a light-up star reduced to £1 from £15 and a glittery silver reindeer ornament to go outside her front door next time Santa visits.
Posting in Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, she said: “B&M has reduced most Christmas items to only £1 - including lights.

Vicky's bargains were also featured on the , run by self-styled Coupon Queen, Holly-Jay Smith.
And it turns out, she wasn’t the only one who got lucky in the clearance sales.
Emma Mainwaring nabbed £155 worth of Christmas goodies for £33, while Leanne Cairns went home with £402 worth of stuff for £51.50.
At the start of the year, B&M exclusively told The Sun that it will be opening 17 new sites this year.
Bosses tipped plans of opening new branches across the UK in both January and February.
The retailer currently has over 660 stores but has a long-term target of 950 sites.
What’s more, B&M agreed to buy up to 51 Wilko locations in a £13million deal in September 2023.
That means if your local Wilko was shut down when the brand went into administration, it may just resurrect as a B&M in the next few months.
