Fashionistas are running to TK Maxx to bag Converse Comme des Garçons for almost £100 cheaper than on the high street

WANT to up your footwear game and start 2024 as a trendy fashionista? Then best get racing to TK Maxx, as you certainly don't want to miss this deal.

According to fans of the popular retailer, the store was offering the viral and influencer-loved Converse Comme des Garçons for a bargain price that will save you quite a bit of money.

Whether worn with a pair of jeans for a more casual look or styled with faux leather bottoms, the fashionable Converse trainers, which feature the iconic heart, is a wardrobe must-have that's become all the rage on social media.

However, with a hefty price tag of an astronomical £140 it's certainly not the most affordable option for many cash-strapped fashion lovers.

Luckily, bargain hunters have recently discovered that TK Maxx offer the popular designer trainers for almost £100 less than on the rest of the high street.

One lucky shopper, Poppy Smalley, took to Facebook to inform others about the bargain deal, which has since taken the platform by storm.

''Found another pair of Converse Comme des Garçons in TK Maxx £49.99, RPR £140,'' the delighted customer wrote in .

Another fellow fashionista, Shakila Smith, had also managed to make the most out of the incredible deal whilst shopping in the branch based in Corby, near Northampton.

''Luckily found these hidden in the kids' section, perks of having tiny feet,'' Shakila chuckled in , shared on the popular .

''Loads of larger sizes 8+ in high and low top.''

Safe to say, the fabulous bargain has become a massive hit on the page, with hundreds racing to tag their pals and family

One, for example, told their friend: ''If you see these, I would very much like them.''

Another said: ''Omg, need to go.''

Someone else for sure will be making a trip to TK Maxx soon, writing: ''Been wanting these for ages, the price drop is crazy.''

''They had these in the Wembley Outlet for less than £30 when I was last there.''

However, before you race to the nearest branch to go on a shopping spree make sure you know how to make the most out of your trip, as one former employee recently revealed the days to bag the best bargains.

According to Dale O'Keeffe, 34, there are specific days when shoppers can head to stores and get even more money off than usual - a these tend to be Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Dale said that most shops have around four-to-five deliveries of stock every week.

He said: "On a Tuesday, they'll do something called 'subs' - subs are further reductions on the stuff that's already on clearance.

"So, they'll go through and reduce it even more than it is already."

Then on a Wednesday, the next round of clearance items are marked down and moved into the cut-price section.

"The hard core TK Maxx shoppers will come in on a Tuesday to grab the cheapest items and then again on a Thursday to see what's been moved into clearance this week.''

Although, Dale also added that the delivery on Fridays do bring in even more stock so that shelves are full of bargain buys for the weekend shoppers.

So, it's definitely worth making a trip on a Friday too because the stores will be "the fullest they're going to be".
