I went to Home Bargains for vitamins & left stocked up for Christmas next year…I even got the viral nutcrackers for 79p

But many Home Bargains fans shared the same complaint

CHRISTMAS might be over, but that doesn’t mean you can’t start thinking about next year.

Yes, you heard that correctly - as shoppers are scrambling to the high street, desperate to check out the reduced Christmas decorations in the Boxing Day sales, preparation for next December.

And if you’ve had the same bits on your mantelpiece for the past 10 years and fancy a change for 2024, you’ll need to head down to Home Bargains - and quickly.

One shopper explained that she popped to Home Bargains for some vitamins, but left with a huge haul of festive finds.

Thrilled with her cut-price bargains, savvy shopper Shelley Bartlett took to social media to alert other shoppers.

Posting on , a private Facebook group with a staggering 2.3 million members, Shelley shared a picture of her decorations for next year.

Not only did she get a variety of different Christmas items for her home, including a Santa cookie jar and Mr and Mrs Claus mugs, but she also nabbed a range of nutcrackers too. 

The bargain hunter then said: “Popped to Home Bargains for vitamins and came back with these bad boys lol.” 

Shelley confirmed that she nabbed the viral hanging nutcrackers, which had been reduced from £2.99 to just 79p.

She also got a large nutcracker, which was originally £50, for only £25.

But that’s not all, as the Home Bargains fan also nabbed two other nutcrackers, once priced at £7.99, but were then reduced to £3.50. 

The Christmas lover also managed to get her hands on a Santa cookie jar and Mr & Mrs Claus mugs, all of which were only £1 each. 

Shelley shared her post just 14 hours ago, but it has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly amassed 145 likes and 35 comments.

Social media users were stunned at the reduced finds and were eager to express this in the comments.

One person said: “Well done, that nutcracker is FANTASTIC.”

Another added: “That’s the nutcracker I wanted.” 

A third commented: “Cute!” 

Meanwhile, someone else joked: “I hope this is all gone on Friday when we go in to town otherwise I’m gonna be taking the lot.”

However, at the same time, one frustrated shopper claimed: “Not one Christmas item in our Home Bargains.”
