I never get a bargain in WHSmith so was stunned when some cute Christmas toys scanned for 1p each, I’m so chuffed
WHEN you think of budget-friendly stores, it's not likely to be on your list.
And that's why mum Kerry was so stunned when she found an epic bargain in her local WHSmith.
"Was £9.99, scanned for 1p - what a bargain!"
The picture showed two adorable reindeer toys, each with a white and red striped scarf and bright red nose.
"Wow fab bargain, and so cute too," one person commented on the post.
As another sighed: "I never find any bargains like that - that's amazing!"
"They're so cute," a third gushed.
"Should have stocked up & donated them to your local xmas toy appeal," someone else wrote.
To which Kerry replied: "I did think this but I wouldn't have be able to carry them.
"Otherwise I would have."
"1p stock is stock they should return to the warehouse and shouldn’t be sold," another added.
"Well done you got them but the store should not of had them in the shelf so in theory no other store should have the.
"Nice find!"
"That's what we do in store," someone else agreed.
"Return to warehouse for any 1p stock. Our Christmas teddy's are still £4.99!"
"I worked for WHS for 9 years," another wrote.
"And if they were sold through the till, not the self serve, I’m pretty sure the cashier will prob be getting a little chat lol."
Others tagged their mates in the comments section as they pleaded with them to keep an eye out for the toys in their local WHSmith store.
