Shoppers go wild for Asda’s half-price Christmas trees – they’re 7ft tall and come pre-lit and snowy
WHEN it comes to decorating your home for Christmas, there’s one thing that always takes centre stage.
So it makes perfect sense that shoppers are currently going wild for cut-price Christmas trees on sale at Asda.
The supermarket’s customers are flocking to their local stores after hearing about a half price sale on the Christmas must-have.
And one woman became the envy of all when she bagged a 7ft tall snowy design that’s less than £50.
Posting a series of snaps on the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains, she raved about how it had made her home look even more festive.
First, she showed what to look out for on the shelves, revealing it came in a beige box and that it included 200 warm white LED lights with a metal stand.

Then she revealed the finishing look, standing proudly in her living room and decorated with lots of silver baubles and a star on top.
“Took advantage of the half price Christmas tree sale in Asda today,” she wrote.
She continued: “Had my eye on this tree and was contemplating paying full price.
“Was £50 reduced from £100 but had some coupons/ rewards so got it for £42.”

It didn’t take long for fellow Asda fans to say she’d bagged a bargain and that they loved the look of it.
One Facebook user wrote: “That’s very pretty.
“Looks 100% better out of the box.”
A second social media fan added: “That’s lovely!”
Meanwhile, another interested shopper wondered if it lost a lot of its snow when the tree was taken out of the box.
But other people who already had the tree were pleased to report that this wasn’t the case.
One wrote: “I have this and very little comes off.
“Mine’s been up a week and a little has fallen but not enough to notice.
“Also had my tree for three years now and it still looks as good.”
A second then added: “I’ve had this tree for the past three years and still has lots of snow on it.
