Savvy shopper shares how to nab huge tub of Quality Street chocolates from Asda for just £2
THE price tag might say £4, even £5 a tub, but one savvy shopper has revealed how she paid just two quid for a share tub of Quality Streets.
It’s not Christmas without someone cracking out a tub or two of chocolates and Asda is the latest supermarket to offer customers them at a cut price.
Taking to the Facebook group, Extreme Couponing and Bargaining UK, Carla Ambrico shared an image of two Quality Street tubs she ahd bought from Tesco.
She told the other group members how she paid £3.85 for the each with her Clubcard.
But everyone was quick to jump into the comments and reveal how they only paid £2 by going to Asda.
Sarah Lola revealed: “£2 Cashback at Asda making them £2.50.”

Bernadette Mcvey added: “The £2 cashback are only on the bigger tubs not the normal size tubs.”
Annmarie Nicholls said: “£4.50 in Asda and £2 back in cash pot.”
If you don’t have an Asda near you, then Tesco is selling them for £1.89 but you need to be a Sky customer.
Debby Monaghan explained how it works: “Get a £2 coupon from sky VIP so £1.89. I did it yesterday. Bargain.”

Kerry Stirzaker-Balls said it worked for her too: “Even cheaper if you have sky I got mine for £1.89.”
No matter where you buy yours from, remember not to throw away the tub after enjoying the chocolates.
Lisa Dowdeswell explained a well-known pub chain is running a recycling scheme.
She said: “Hey folks, If you can get your empty tubs to any Greene King pub in the new year, macmillan are going to recycle them for their cancer charity.”
Deborah Duckworth added: “Save the tubs. Green king pubs are collecting then after Xmas for MacMillan.”
