Aldi is selling a dupe of The White Company’s huge Christmas candle for £70 less and it burns for nearly 150 hours
Get your home smelling like Christmas with Aldi’s new XXL candle from its Home Collection that is said to be a dupe of The White Company’s version.
Measuring 23 x 23 x 12.5cm, the giant candle is said to burn for up to 200 hours and “fill your room with gorgeous, relaxing scents”.
It has six wicks and “will instantly change the ambience in any room, whilst doubling up as a stunning table centrepiece”.
The best bit? It costs £24.99 instead of the £95 luxury version from The White Company.
Kiera Kirke, aka on Instagram, shared the candle with her 75.3k followers.
She dubbed it as “the biggest candle [she’s] ever seen” and said “it will get you through the whole season”.
It also “looks beautiful” but “smells insane”, the interior guru said referencing the orange, clove, and cinnamon combination.
A follower wanted to know more about the scent and commented: “So big! Be interested to see how it smells too!” Kiera replied: “Gorgeous scent- you can test it instore! Had it lit for hours last night and then whole kitchen was full.”
The White Company’s candle, on the other hand, is the Winter Indulgence Botanical Candle for £95 and was first created over 21 years ago by the founder.
It has been described as “the scent of Christmas” and has a “magical combination of spicy cinnamon, rich warming clove and fresh zesty orange”.

Dunelm also has a couple of multi-wick candles but in two different scents; Holly Berries and Snowdrops.
They are slightly smaller than Aldi or The White Company’s candles, with three wicks instead of six, and a burn time of 85 hours.
Priced at £18 they make a stunning centrepiece and have been given a rating 4.5 out of five stars online.
