Fashion fans are horrified by Y2K fashion trend that’s making a comeback – but some are desperate to wear it
The noughties and the time between 2010 and 2016 were an interesting period for fashion - with hideous slouch boots, the infamous disc belts, dresses over jeans, and the iconic green parka jacket being in almost every woman’s wardrobe.
This year, there has been a revival of Y2K clothing, and Bershka is the latest store to stock items millennials are wishing they would never see again.
Sharing her top buys on TikTok, Luna, aka started with cargo pants.
According to , “cargo pants never go out of style” and they claim “everyone loves a pocket, the more the merrier”.
But they haven’t been around for a few years and now they’re selling them as low-rise, with pull-string hems and plenty of square pockets.
They came in three colours; khaki, white, and black, and above them were matching halterneck crop tops in the same cargo material.
Oversized zip-up hoodies were next to be shown, then varsity jackets.
But it was the display of cropped cotton t-shirts that were a step too far for shoppers.
Back in the 2000s, Britney Spears was the bona fide queen of baby tees and crop tops with slogans emblazoned on them - and the more snarky the better.
Berskha is selling white and red crop tees with ‘I love pizza everyday’ written across them, and so many people in the comments said they loved it or already had it.

One exclaimed: "I HAVE THE I LOVE PIZZA SHIRT," and received four comments with other people saying "same". Someone else said: "I love pizza shirt I need."
Another comment read: "Bought the parachute pants love them."
One Tiktokker wrote: "Oh god, please no, we don't need cropped slogan tees back. Had them when I was a teen."
Someone else chimed: "I hate the 2000s fashion trends making a comeback."
Completing the round-up of YK2 items back in the store were trucker hats.
The originator of this trend might have been Justin Timberlake, but lots of female celebs made their red carpet appearance more casual back in the 2000s with a trucker hat.
Gwen Stefani for example, loved to wear hers with low-slung jeans and sneaker heels - but please let us never revisit the "visible white underwear" look ever again.
