I’m dating a woman 22 years older than me – it’s a relief to avoid Instagram obsessed millennials, and she’s fit too
A influencer dating a woman 22 years his senior has doubled down on his decision by claiming girls his own age are attention seekers.
Alex Michael, 25, met Rachel Allen, 47, online and the pair have been inseparable ever since - despite neither being in an age gap relationship before.
The couple, who live in Texas, don’t see an issue despite him being just three years older than her son.
Alex doesn’t believe somebody younger would be as levelheaded as his cougar flame.
He said: “The best thing about being in a relationship with someone older than you is the maturity you gain.
“Rachel has helped me work on my problems and shortcomings and I've definitely taken a step in the right direction and grown in my morals and work ethic.
“Another brightspot about dating an older woman is she's not as much of an attention seeker as girls who are millennials/genx.
“Even though she's very attractive, she doesn't seek out validation through Instagram like so many do.
“She also isn't a flirt, which is what I saw much more from the younger generation of women.
“Rachel also is more supportive and uplifting and she really knows how to bring out the best in me.

“I would never regret being with her and doing what we've done.”
Another claim that Alex dismisses is the notion Rachel can’t keep up with him and that he will be too immature for her.
He adds: “That is 100 per cent unfair. Rachel is extremely fit and active and can outdo many girls my age.
“And she often tells me that I am more mature than her 51-year-old ex, so absolutely that is an unfair statement.
“People are different and every case is different.
“When two people meet their equal or their other half, they fit perfectly regardless of age.”
