The Instagrammer showed her audience how to create a "damage-free garland by hanging it with a shower curtain rod."

For her first step, Wendy took an old shower curtain rod and tightened it in a doorway at chest level.

She said: "I took the shower curtain from our guest bathroom and tested this out for myself.

"It has held up really well, I even put my heavy Norfolk pine garlands on and it didn’t budge."

She advised viewers: "Drape and wrap your shower rod with your garland."

Wendy continued: "You might need two for a fuller look, remember to fluff your garland."

She also weaved twinkling lights into the DIY setup to add a festive glow to her home.

To complete the holiday decor, she recommended adding "accent ornaments or accent garlands" to the curtain rod.

Wendy then stood on a step ladder and adjusted the height of her DIY garland.

"Raise your curtain rod to the desired height and tighten it," she explained.

Wendy concluded: "Turn on your twinkle lights and enjoy the magic."
