MARRIAGE BLISS

Sex is getting better now I’m married, says Kelly Brook, 43, as she reveals why she’s not thinking about children yet

Kelly says: 'I didn’t see a future with anyone else'

TYING the knot hasn’t put the dampener on Kelly Brook’s sex life with hubby Jeremy Parisi.

The radio host, widely regarded as one of the hottest women in showbiz, married the actor and model in Italy in summer last year — and she reveals they haven’t cooled off since.

“Not in my house,” she says. “But then we don’t have children yet.”

Kelly, 43, previously opened up about accepting she wouldn’t become a mum after suffering two miscarriages with her ex, rugby player Thom Evans, in 2011 — but it now sounds like that chapter isn’t totally closed.

She says she and Jeremy, 38, aren’t trying for children “at the moment”, adding: “I haven’t really thought about it, to be honest. I think we’ve been so caught up in getting married and work and living our lives and travelling and just being happy and grateful for what we’ve got.”

In the meantime, she has another little one to look after — the couple’s beloved dog Teddy.

Kelly says: “You’re asking me if I want babies? I have one. he’s furry and he’s three and he’s like my little angel.”

And like babies, dogs can get in the way of sex.

Kelly admits: “He’s a bit of a passion killer, our dog. We used to have lots of weekends away in log cabins, but we always take him with us now, so it’s not quite so romantic.”

Speaking of romance, Kelly admits she had a case of post-wedding blues after her lavish wedding ceremony.

‘Horrific pictures’

She says: “When you get married people say, ‘Oh, it’s just a day’ — and it’s not, it’s a year of preparation. Then you get married and it’s a year of comedown.”

But does their eight-year relationship feel different now they’re married?

“It didn’t really change so much for us,” says Kelly.

“The weirdest thing is just changing my name and being Mrs Parisi. My driving licence came through the other day and I was like, ‘Oh my God’. I’ve been Kelly Parsons (her birth name) or Kelly Brook for 44 years.”

The former Big Breakfast host, who says it is “too complicated” to use her husband’s surname professionally, reckons married life has made some positive changes to her outlook on life.

She says: “It’s a nice time to open a different part of my heart and think about someone else.

“Part of my growth as a mature woman is to not be so selfish. I definitely feel like it’s opened up my world and I’m a much nicer person now I’m married.

“You’re just a bit narcissistic and self-absorbed when you’re single and young. Now it’s about someone else.”

Talking about how she knew Jeremy was The One, Kelly says: “I didn’t see a future with anyone else.

“I certainly didn’t want to do it alone. I think it’s much easier when there’s two of you. You become a team, don’t you?”

But that’s not to say the loved-up star doesn’t still want to be an independent woman.

She says: “I definitely feel like you should still have your own thing going on.

“I consider it like two pillars growing together at the same time. One’s not leaning on the other, if that makes sense. Because then if one’s weaker you’ll fall over.

“I didn’t marry Jeremy because he makes me happy. I make me happy. Somebody else can’t do that for you.”

Kelly is renowned for her enviable figure, but she admits there was a time when she wasn’t happy being shapely.

She says: “In my career I was held back so much being a curvy girl. I’d turn up on shoots and they’d look at me and be like, ‘No, next!’

“I just didn’t fit sample sizes because the samples were so small but now brands are more inclusive and realise that girls are all different shapes and sizes.

“I’m just a curvy girl, so I think even if I went on a diet, I’m always going to have boobs and a bum. As long as I’m healthy and fit and I feel happy in myself and I can get out of bed and look in the mirror and not throw up, I think I’m all right.”

The only photos of herself that Kelly doesn’t like are the ones Jeremy takes.

She reveals: “My husband takes horrific pictures of me on holiday. I don’t even recognise myself.”

But however she feels about her appearance, Kelly is adamant she won’t go down the surgery route.

The Heart Radio drivetime presenter says: “I want to look like me. I don’t want to look like a plastic version of me.

“I work for the radio, so no one really cares what I look like any more.

“I don’t have Botox. You can see my face move. I hate needles. The less people interfere with me, the better.”

Having lived in the Kent countryside for 17 years, Kelly made the move back to London during the pandemic and she admits that her husband needed to be somewhere a bit more “cosmopolitan”.

She says: “It was a fresh start. Now that I’m married it’s all about that compromise.

‘I’d love to play Puss In Boots’

“My husband’s from France. He speaks Italian and French and wants to live in a cosmopolitan city where he doesn’t just hear English on the street and it’s just a little bit more vibrant.

“It feels a bit more like Paris and it’s just where we want to be together.”

Along with getting rid of her country house, Kelly also ditched her belongings from the past — including pics of her famous exes.

Kelly, who dated Hollywood actors Jason Statham and Billy Zane, destroyed mementoes of her past relationships — with Jeremy’s help.

She explains: “He was bringing boxes out of my storage unit and I was going, ‘Oh, just go and burn that on the bonfire up on the field’.

“I think there was a particular picture of Billy Zane that just wouldn’t burn. He said it was like Billy was staring at him and would refuse to go.

“I’ve got rid of the clutter. I’ve auctioned all my clothes from the Nineties. Sold everything. It was so cathartic.”

Tying in perfectly with her new pared-back lifestyle is Kelly’s new F&F Christmas home range, which includes candles, jumpers and wrapping paper.

She says: “This is the first time we’ve stripped it all back and gone for a real Scandi look. This has been inspired by me moving to London and having a much cleaner lifestyle since the pandemic, where you have more muted tones and it’s just all a bit calmer.”

Not satisfied with having a daily job on the radio and a lifestyle range under her belt, the ambitious star tells us she would also be up for treading the boards over Christmas.

She says “I love panto. Probably Puss In Boots I’d like to play. I would love that.”

If it’s an acting job she’s after, would she ever consider a part in a soap?

After all, she would look right at home pulling a pint in EastEnders’ Queen Vic.
