Josephine Yenna took to money-saving Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK and shared a snap of her washing hung up on a clothes and bath pole.

Alongside the image, she penned: "Don't know if this is of help!

"This is the way I dry our clothes over the colder month…always leave the window slightly open to stop condensation - no tumble dryer or electric needed."

The post has since garnered a whopping 2.3k likes and over 850 comments, with many quick to praise Josephine's top laundry-drying tip.

"Me too - my little bedroom is like a laundry," wrote one.

A second penned: "We have an extra shower curtain pole above the bath and hand clothes on that."

A third commented: "I hang mine on my shower pole - works a treat."

Meanwhile, a fourth noted: "Always do this - works great just towels and heavy things I don't put up as worried they may be to heavy for my curtain pole."

Another added: "Yes I do this in my kitchen and the children’s school blouses get hung up on their bedroom curtain pole."
